What is Pilates?
Pilates is a great exercise for everyone from all walks of life regardless of age, mobility or fitness. Initially created by Joseph Pilates for rehabilitation of soldiers, Pilates has moved into the dance (specifically ballet) arena then now has become a very popular method of exercise.
​What are the benefits of Mat Pilates?
Pilates has taken the general population by storm. It’s such a versatile way to exercise that
can be tailored just for you. Pilates and Clinical Exercise Therapy are also commonly part of
operation rehabilitation, pregnancy fitness and return to work plans.

At Authentic Health, each person gets their very own individually tailored plan, with their
abilities and goals taken into consideration. Although there are some people who can do
incredibly advance Pilates, it is also for people who have never exercised or who hate
exercise.

One on one Pilates / Clinical Exercise Therapy sessions are available with a qualified physiotherapist and tailored to you.

Our fitness area has Pilates mats and exercise equipment for the full experience.

Small group classes coming soon!! These classes are run by a qualified physiotherapist and are claimable on your Private Health Insurance (if applicable).
